Senscio has entered into a strategic partnership with Ambio Health, of Stamford, CT, a maker of remote health monitoring devices. This partnership advances the mission of both companies: enabling people to manage their health in their own homes. The partnership will embed Ambio’s wireless monitors into Senscio’s care management platform, making it easier to routinely monitor vitals while staying safe at home.
Ambio’s range of wireless health monitoring devices enables population health management solutions with the most affordable, easiest to use, FDA 510k Cleared Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) technology available.
Ambio set up is plug-and-play with no Bluetooth pairing required. Whole-house wireless range enables patients to leave their scale in the bathroom, blood pressure meter in the bedroom and blood glucose meter in the kitchen. Readings are sent automatically and available shortly after they are taken, enabling timely follow-up and coaching.
“We are delighted to be working with Ambio Health. Many of our patients will benefit from the ease of measuring vitals through the use of Ambio’s devices,” says Piali De, CEO and co-founder of Senscio Systems. “Our goal is to help patients with chronic conditions to more effectively manage their own health in their own homes, while staying in close touch with their care teams. We firmly believe that this will lead to improved outcomes and lower costs for the entire health system.”
Kevin Jones, founder and chief executive officer of Ambio Health, commented, “We are excited to partner with Senscio Systems –their engaging touchscreen patient interface combined with their unique AI based analytics engine make them an incredibly compelling player in the healthcare market.”
