Easterseals is America's largest non-profit healthcare organization, serving over 1.4 million people each year. They provide an incredibly diverse range of services, such as employment and housing placement, care for children with autism, medical rehabilitation, and transportation for folks with disabilities. Founded in 1936 by Edgar Allen, Easterseals has worked to provide support services for people and families living with all different kinds of disabilities. Today, there are 69 local Easterseals in the United States, and four international branches in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Australia (www.easterseals.com/who-we-are).
